Try out Google Talk.......and talko and talko

Its a google designed application that can be used to share quick and instant messages, view status updates and allows users to share files and and pictures instantly.it also has the voice chat where users can make voice calls from PC to PC in the world and guess what,you can conference call by talking to multiple people using this application. Just like when you link up your facebook to yahoo and then to twitter and other applicaqtions,you can link or intergrate this application to your gmail and chat with your dears.....mwaaahh mwaahhh and other things that you like doing on social networking sites..

As an application, you can personalize Google Talk with pictures! Upload pictures for friends to see -- use an image of yourself, or display your favorite icon. You can even select a picture from Google Talk's image gallery. Here's how to choose a Buddy Picture:
  1. Sign in to Google Talk.
  2. Click the image next to your name, at the top of your Friends list.
  3. Select one of the provided pictures, or click Browse... to upload an image from another location.

Your picture will appear immediately, and your friends will be able to see it next to your name and status message in their Friends lists.
If you upload your own picture, just make sure the image file is a .JPG, .GIF, .BMP, or .PNG. Google Talk will automatically resize the image in your file to 32x32.

To use this application, it requires Windows XP + or Mac OS X 10.4 +
Linux but just know it does not run on all operating systems..

But as you know,every application has its short comings so may be you need to try out before i tell you,it could work for you.........i just did!!
